A regional brewery, Hi-Wire distributes in eight states and has locations in North Carolina and Tennessee, consisting of seven taprooms (three in Asheville, and one each in Charlotte, Durham, Wilmington, and Knoxville), as well as The Tiki Easy Bar and The Event Space in Asheville. Position Summary Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role serves as a key driver in bringing strategic marketing initiatives to life. This role combines project management and hands-on execution, requiring someone who can both coordinate cross-functional efforts and directly produce high-quality marketing deliverables. This person is a proactive self-starter who identifies what needs to be done and has the organizational and project management skills to move work forward efficiently. They will lead campaign execution from concept to completion, while also contributing tactically through writing, email marketing, website updates, and digital campaign support. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in a marketing or communications role and is a well-rounded generalist who is self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable switching between big-picture planning and detailed execution. They thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and take ownership of both outcomes and output. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor, capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency. Key Responsibilities Campaign Execution (Project Management & Hands-On Delivery) Lead and execute marketing campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met Translate strategy into actionable plans, coordinating stakeholders and resources Serve as project manager across initiatives, maintaining timelines, team resources, and alignment Act as point of contact for marketing requests, including ad deadlines and project status Manage partner requests and related coordination Support projects as-needed through hands-on delivery Coordinate media follow-ups and asset sharing Content Development & Brand Storytelling Help shape and communicate the brand story across channels Write and edit press releases, blog content, email campaigns, ad text, and product descriptions (beer, menu, sales) Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging Digital Marketing & Analytics Own email marketing campaigns from start to finish, from concept to implementation to analytics Monitor and report on campaign performance, audience growth, and engagement metrics Support website updates (SEO, blogs, landing pages, compliance content) Assist with digital advertising campaigns Respond to customer reviews in collaboration with the Marketing Director Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support Partner with taproom, sales, and production teams to align messaging and support launches Coordinate marketing needs for collaborations, keystone events, and promotions Support special projects, including tool implementation and evaluating new opportunities Conduct research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends and customer behavior Skills & QualificationsCore Competencies Strong project management and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Understanding of marketing best practices Exceptional organization and attention to detail Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of accountability and follow-through Team player with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills Technical Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) Experience with email marketing platforms (preferably Klaviyo) Familiarity with website management and SEO Photography and photo editing experience preferred Experience with project management tools (Monday, Asana, Coda, etc.) is a plus Understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, email metrics, social insights) Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3-5 years of professional marketing experience Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or CPG industries preferred What Success Looks Like in This Role Marketing initiatives are executed efficiently, on time, and at a high level The Marketing Director is able to focus more on strategy due to strong operational support Campaigns are cohesive, measurable, and continuously improving Cross-functional teams feel supported and aligned with marketing efforts Join Our Team This is an exciting time to be part of Hi-Wire Brewing as we grow and evolve our brand.
