Position:
The Fresh Market currently has an opening for Marketing Planning & Activation (MP&A) Coordinator in our Store Support Center, located in Greensboro, NC. This role serves as a key facilitator of marketing strategy execution by supporting the MP&A Director and MP&A Marketing Managers in coordinating marketing‑led projects, initiatives, and cross‑functional tasks. As part of the strategic planning organization within Marketing, the MP&A Marketing Coordinator helps translate marketing priorities into organized, collaborative, and actionable workstreams across departments.
What You'll Do:
Lead weekly advertising planning and communications across marketing. Assist and/or lead with signage processes, communications, workflow, and tasks. Manage and coordinate marketing-led projects and initiatives from planning through execution. Schedule meetings, events, and activities; maintain calendars and timelines. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports. Coordinate across departments to collect customer data, market intelligence, competitive insights, and stakeholder feedback. Prepare and/or edit marketing plans, strategies, briefs, and post-campaign analysis. Support tactical marketing functions and maintain records, files, and repositories. Create and manage reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders. Support local store marketing, including community development. Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, and executive leaders. Perform other tasks as needed to support MP&A team objectives. mplement and continuously refine the merchandising execution cadence (weekly/monthly operating forums, milestone reviews, escalation processes)
Qualifications:
At a minimum, what you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. At least 3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in retail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management and reporting tools (Smartsheet, Agile, Workfront, Tableau, Power BI). Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights. Growth mindset and strong follow-through.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in marketing planning within a retail environment. Familiarity with writing marketing briefs, campaign planning, and cross-functional communication. Experience with project management, PMP certification a plus. .
