BDC Representative Location:
Cloninger Ford - Hickory, NC (Supporting Hickory & Morganton Locations) About Cloninger Ford Cloninger Ford is part of a trusted dealership group committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint. With locations in Hickory and Morganton, we pride ourselves on professionalism, team culture, and a customer-first mindset. We're currently looking for a full-time salaried BDC Representative to join our team in Hickory and support both locations. Job Description As a BDC Representative at Cloninger Ford, you will play a key role in driving traffic to both the Hickory and Morganton stores by managing inbound leads, scheduling appointments, and ensuring seamless communication with our sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, confident on the phone, and motivated to support team performance.

Responsible for handling BDC needs for both Hickory and Morganton dealerships
Work Requirements Schedule:
Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed

Hickory, NC Travel:
Occasional travel to Morganton store (as needed) Responsibilities Respond promptly to internet, phone, and chat inquiries from potential customers Set and confirm sales appointments for both Hickory and Morganton stores Conduct follow-ups with unsold showroom traffic, internet leads, and incoming calls Accurately document customer interactions and updates in the CRM Collaborate with the sales managers and teams at both locations to ensure smooth handoffs Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times Stay up to date with dealership promotions, incentives, and inventory changes Qualifications Previous experience in a BDC, customer service, or sales support role preferred Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required Strong phone and written communication skills Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Why Join Cloninger Ford Supportive and team-focused work environment Stability with a well-established dealership group Career growth opportunities within the organization Ability to make an impact across multiple store locations Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan Employee vehicle purchase discounts Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Cloninger Ford is an equal opportunity employer.
