DESCRIPTION
BENEFITS Job Description The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports the College's mission by assisting with the coordination and execution of marketing, communications, and public relations initiatives. This position plays a key role in advancing institutional visibility, enrollment marketing, and community engagement through content creation, digital media, website management, event promotion, and internal communications. The Coordinator will collaborate with academic and student services units to ensure consistent, strategic messaging aligned with the College's brand and values. Essential Responsibilities Develop, write, edit, and distribute engaging content for digital, print, and social media platforms. Serve as the College's Graphic Designer. Offer graphic design, branding, and marketing support for print, electronic (and broadcast) and other formats, and prepare art for commercial printing. Assist in managing the College's social media presence, including creating content calendars, monitoring analytics, and responding to inquiries. Track social media performance metrics and provide reports to the Director to inform future strategies. Serve as the official campus photographer for College publications and events. Provide marketing and communications support for College events. Maintain an archive of photographic images and ensures that they can be easily searched and retrieved. Maintain the College's website, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and consistency in content and public-facing design; collaborate with campus departments to keep program and service information current. Support enrollment marketing campaigns by developing content for advertising placements (traditional and digital marketing tactics). Contribute to the development of newsletters and other internal communications. Ensure compliance with College brand standards, accessibility (WCAG), and style guidelines in all materials. Coordinate design, production, and distribution of marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, posters, banners, etc.) in partnership with internal print shop and external vendors. In addition to major institution documents for student use (i.e., Academic Catalog, Continuing Education Schedule, etc.). Maintains quality control throughout production of assigned projects. Assist in coordinating various marketing methods and provide support with media technology. Provide administrative and project management support to the Director of Marketing & Strategic Engagement. Works collaboratively with the NCC marketing team to ensure offerings, branding, and messages of NCC are communicated clearly, consistently and accurately. Serves on institutional committees as assigned Participate in professional development activities provided by NCC. Participate in College events and activities. Maintain regular on-site attendance during normal hours of college operations consistent with expectations and College policies and procedures. Initiate and answer telephone calls and video conference calls. Perform other duties as assigned which contribute to the efficient and effective operation of NCC.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Arts, Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field from a regionally accredited institution is required. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in creative content development and outcomes-driven marketing. Experience with website content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and DSLR photography/editing is highly valued. Applicants must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational and project management abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, self-motivated problem-solver with attention to detail, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to contribute positively both independently and as part of a team.
