Job Description:
A local residential and commercial real estate brokerage is seeking a creative, social-media-driven Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to support the brokerage's online presence and agent marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is highly fluent in short-form video, understands social trends, and can execute marketing materials efficiently using pre-built templates. The position will support both brokerage leadership and agents, with a strong focus on content creation and digital engagement. This is an in-office, part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Content Development:
Film and edit short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts). Assist in producing weekly market updates and recruiting-focused content. Manage and schedule posts across brokerage and leadership social accounts. Engage with local businesses, agents, and community accounts to increase visibility. Repurpose content across multiple platforms for maximum reach. Assist in coordinating on-site property video shoots.
Marketing & Branding Support:
Utilize Canva templates (with locked elements) to update and customize: Social media graphics (Just Listed, Just Sold, Testimonials) Postcards and feature sheets Open house materials Email blasts Offering memorandums (commercial listings) Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines. Update and maintain website content (Wix platform). Assist with assembling and distributing marketing packages as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong proficiency in Canva. Experience editing short-form video (CapCut or similar platform required). Familiarity with Wix or basic website editing. Strong understanding of Instagram and current social media trends. Comfortable filming and directing others on camera. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Professional communication skills. Real estate familiarity is a plus but not required.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and fluent in current social media trends and digital content strategy. They should be comfortable editing short-form video content and working within established brand guidelines while managing multiple projects efficiently. This individual must be proactive, dependable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced office environment. An interest in marketing, branding, and digital media is essential, as this role will play an important part in supporting the company's growing online presence and agent marketing initiatives.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
