About Akris Akris is an international fashion house founded in 1922 and based in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Creative director Albert Kriemler designs fashion forward women's wear and signature accessories. Akris holds its ready-to-wear runway shows twice a year in Paris. Besides double-face, the fashion house is renowned for using innovative embroidery and digital photo-printing techniques. Akris has been owned and run by its founding family for three generations and operates its own boutiques in major cities around the globe. The Akris main collection as well as its sportier sister line Akris punto are also available in over 500 points of distribution worldwide. About the Role Akris is looking for a full-time intern who is eager to learn and interested in a hands-on fashion environment. The intern will assist during one of the most important events of the year-Market Week-and will support the Marketing, Sales, and Visual teams. This internship is unpaid; however, a MetroCard will be provided for transportation, and lunch will be provided daily. Letters of recommendation may also be provided upon successful completion of the internship.
Responsibilities:
  • Model dressing and styling
  • Assisting during market appointments
  • Photography
  • Basic photo editing and retouching
  • Visual merchandising support Schedule /

  • 7:00 PM (set-up)
  • Monday, June 8th
  • Friday, June 12th : 8:30 AM
  • 5:00 PM Week 2
  • Akris Market
  • Wednesday, June 17th : 10:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM (set-up)
  • Thursday, June18th: 8:30 AM
  • 5:00 PM, Monday, June 22nd: 8:30 AM
  • 5:00 PM Preferred that the intern is available for all dates, but some flexibility may be possible.
