About Scarlet Knight Enterprises Scarlet Knight Enterprises, Inc. (SKE) is a New Jersey-based nonprofit that serves as the commercial arm supporting Rutgers Athletics. SKE drives revenue through multimedia rights, corporate sponsorship, NIL facilitation, and fan engagement - working alongside Rutgers Athletics to maximize the impact of one of the most storied programs in college sports. SKE is excited to accept applications for the Scarlet Knight Enterprises Internship Program, offering placements within four key departments within the company: in Brand Partnerships Activation, Engagement and Events, Creative Brand Partnerships, and Finance & HR. Interns will experience opportunity to connect with fellow cohort members monthly and will work together on cross-departmental projects. Position Summary Scarlet Knight Enterprises (SKE) is seeking a motivated class of interns to support its teams in their efforts for revenue generation for Rutgers Athletics. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team. In this role, the Brand Partnership Activation Intern will support the Brand Partnership & Operations teams in the execution of corporate sponsorships through gameday and event activations, including signage, promotions, and partner visibility. Additionally, they will assist with sales enablement tasks such as pitch materials, ROI tracking, recaps, and research into new sponsorship opportunities, while helping ensure smooth operations during live events. Key Responsibilities Assist with gameday and event operations, including setting up gameday displays/activations, tracking in-venue signage, supporting promotional giveaways, and on-field/court promotions for corporate partners. Collaborate with the sales team to assist with prospecting, developing pitch decks, tracking ROI and preparing end-of-year partnership recaps. Research and propose new sponsorship inventory and activation ideas to enhance partner visibility, maximize revenue opportunities, and elevate the overall fan experience. Attend all home football games for the 2026 season and a minimum of 3 additional sporting events per season. Assist with all gameday preparation/setup and in-office responsibilities, dedicating approximately 10-20 hours per week. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Brand Partnerships and Operations team. Qualifications Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at Rutgers University - New Brunswick. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Forward-thinking mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Professional, adaptable, and dependable. Self-starter who can work independently, prioritize effectively, and hit deadlines. Team-first attitude with the flexibility to thrive in a growing, evolving organization.
