QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in sales and customer service
  • Possess a current drivers license and vehicle insurance
  • Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Must be knowledgeable in the field of health care marketing
REPORTS TO
Director / Assistant Director/ Director of Nursing
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be able to work 40 hours a week
  • Must be able to travel within the normal workday
  • Maintain open lines of communication between the Director, Assistant Director and Director of Nursing
  • Ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations relating to the marketing of a home health agency
  • Participates in attempting to reach patient census goals
  • The following duties may be performed by the
Marketer:
1. Makes weekly visits to physicians and clinics in Clovis and Portales to visit with discharge planner, office manager and/or physicians regarding Clovis Homecare, Inc. as a service provider. Asks for referrals of patients 2. Travels once a month to hospitals in Roswell, Lubbock, and Amarillo to visit with discharge planner, office manager and/or physicians regarding Clovis Homecare, Inc. as a service provider. Asks for referrals of patients 3. Do monthly mailings to Albuquerque discharge planners and hospitals, explaining services provided and to ask for referrals of patients. 4. Provides lunches/breakfast to local area providers to encourage the providers to refer patients to CHC 5. Prepares weekly visit reports with progress that are tied to the progress of gaining referrals from each medical provider visited. 6. Maintains logs regarding items given to physicians/offices 7. Keep marketing expenditures in line with budget provided by the company. Maintain communication and offer suggestions regarding media advertising to contracted public relations agency. 8. Participate in community outreach (health fairs, etc.) 9. Deliver and pick up medical orders to physicians in the Clovis and the surrounding areas
  • Be familiar with and adhere to CHC's policies and procedures
  • Supports public relations and marketing; promotes home care referrals
  • Maintains open communication in the medical community and with other community resources
  • Attends staff meetings as scheduled
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to drive long distances
  • Ability to write legibly
  • Ability to operate a computer and appropriate computer software
  • Ability to operate electronic telephone systems
  • Ability to verbally and in written form communicate in an effective manner
  • Ability to maintain a budget
  • Be available to assist with additional tasks as requested by the Director, Assistant Director or owners
