We are OEI (Outreach, Education & Installations) for CapTel Captioned Telephones. Our purpose is to help people with hearing loss communicate with the world. CapTel is a telephone and service that adds clarity, amplifies sound, and captions word-for-word what is being said to users, enabling them to hear and read what is said during a telephone call. CapTel is a NO-COST federally funded technology available under the Americans with Disabilities Act exclusively for those with hearing loss.

Position:

Community Outreach Installer Work in the field with a flexible schedule Great fit for a customer-service oriented individual who has a passion for helping people

Objective:

We are looking for someone reliable, patient, conscientious , and who also enjoys working independently. Someone who wants to improve the quality of life for others in their community. The users of the CapTel phone will be forever grateful for your excellent customer service and passion for helping them get what they need to communicate effectively over the phone. Training & ongoing support is provided.

Responsibilities:

Perform community outreach activities such as networking and presentations to reach more potential clients. Work with potential new clients to help them receive a CapTel. Travel to and feel comfortable working within a client's home to install and train them on receiving the best benefits from the phone. Execute accurate administrative reporting and inventory control.

Qualifications/Skills:

Must have 2 years of customer-facing sales experience Strong marketing skills a plus Excellent time management & problem solving Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity Excellent Communication (written and oral) Personal smart phone & computer is required Proficiency in navigating technology such as cellphones and basic Microsoft programs Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is required w/ proof of insurance and a clean driving record
