Hours will be 20-28 hrs week, but flexibility is required. This position is responsible for developing and coordinating community outreach, public health education, communication and engagement initiatives for the Wayne County Health Department. This position supports accreditation efforts, quality improvement projects, public information, and community health initiatives through collaboration with leadership, community partners, and the public. This position serves as a liaison between the Health Department, community partners, and the public by promoting programs and educating the public on health topics.
