Job Description

Job Summary TrusteeFriend is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Marketing & Business Development Representative to help expand awareness of our estate planning services and educational programs. In this role, you will build relationships with professionals, organizations, and prospective clients, educate individuals on the importance of estate planning, and help connect families with the appropriate planning resources. You will play a key role in growing our referral network, supporting marketing initiatives, and helping families take the next step toward protecting their loved ones and assets. This paid position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in relationship marketing, business development, and client engagement while making a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. Responsibilities Develop and execute outreach strategies to build relationships with financial professionals, insurance agents, real estate professionals, business owners, community organizations, and other referral partners. Educate prospective clients and referral partners about estate planning concepts, including living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, probate avoidance, and trust funding. Conduct introductory consultations and educational presentations to help individuals understand available planning options and next steps. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, events, webinars, workshops, and community outreach initiatives. Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with referral partners through regular communication, follow-up, and account management. Coordinate with internal planning, operations, and attorney teams to ensure a smooth client experience from initial inquiry through plan completion. Track leads, referrals, appointments, and client activity using company CRM and reporting tools. Represent TrusteeFriend professionally at industry events, conferences, educational seminars, and community gatherings. Assist with marketing campaigns, social media initiatives, email outreach, and other lead-generation activities. Stay informed on estate planning trends, client concerns, and market opportunities to support ongoing business growth. Qualifications Experience in sales, marketing, business development, client relations, financial services, insurance, real estate, legal support services, or a related field preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and establish meaningful professional relationships. Comfortable presenting educational information to individuals, families, and professional audiences. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and relationships simultaneously. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to networking, prospecting, and business development. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and virtual meeting tools. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams. Professional demeanor and commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
