What You'll Do:
The Associate Manager, Events & Partnerships supports the planning and execution of events that advance brand initiatives for the Baseball/Softball Business Unit. This includes key programs such as the Omaha Experience at the Men's College World Series, ABCA and NFCA trade shows, grassroots activations, photoshoots, and other brand events. This role also assists in managing strategic partnerships to ensure holistic activation and maximum value across all elements, including email campaigns, social media content, on-site activations, and fulfillment of contracted assets. This role plays is critical in maintaining a consistent tone for our brands that fits within brand guidelines, personality, and voice. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Product, and Creative teams to plan and execute the Omaha Experience store execution and experience Responsibilities include overseeing store installation, developing product assortments and limited-edition offerings, managing product orders, staffing, coordinating in-market marketing efforts, driving sales performance, and delivering post-event reporting. Support the planning and execution of events across the Events & Partnerships and Brand Marketing teams, including grassroots activations, trade shows, photoshoots, and other brand initiatives. Identify opportunities to enhance event strategy and improve achievement of key business objectives through event presence and activation. Support influencer marketing initiatives by coordinating contracted product fulfillment, partnering with Brand Marketing and Social teams on content deliverables, and assisting with the planning and on-site execution of influencer events to ensure strong brand representation. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, collaborating internally and externally to maximize partnership value and ensure successful activation across all contracted elements. Build event documentation and lead post-event debriefs and incorporate insights and learnings into future planning to continuously improve event effectiveness and execution. Perform other related duties as required.
What We're Looking For :
We are seeking qualified candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of two years planning and executing events, with increasing responsibility managing partnerships and/or business relationships.
Other qualifications include:
Effective communication skills (listening, verbal, and written), with the ability to express ideas, problems, and solutions with clarity. Strong sense of initiative, drive, creativity, sound decision making, and teamwork. Ability to take a plan from concept to execution and align the plan with business objectives. Ability to manage a budget. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong rapport with internal and external partners. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to adapt to changing priorities with ease and composure, while prioritizing workload effectively and meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Can effectively inform and communicate with broader team while owning projects. Passion for and experience in sports is a major plus, especially Baseball/Softball. The ability to speak authoritatively and authentically as a means of developing authentic deliverables against a focused sports audience is important. Strong computer proficiency required in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. SAP experience is helpful but not required. Travel requirements vary depending on the time of year but are up to 50%. What We'll Provide A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $75,000 - $85,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
