Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Catering Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of catering services for a diverse range of events. In this dynamic role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their culinary needs are met with precision and enthusiasm. Your ability to coordinate logistics, communicate effectively, and deliver exceptional customer service will drive memorable experiences and foster lasting relationships. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their catering requirements, preferences, and budgets, providing expert guidance on menu options and service styles. Drive to various businesses to advertise various catering programs offered. Develop detailed event plans, including menu pricing and delivery schedules. Manage route driving responsibilities to deliver catering orders efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Upsell additional services or menu items to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Maintain clear communication with clients, team members, and vendors throughout the planning process to ensure seamless execution. Requirements Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or event coordination with strong customer service skills. Valid driving license with clean driving record. Ability to perform lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and billing processes Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and vendors Knowledge of merchandising techniques to promote menu items and upsell services effectively Organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
