Local travel to clinics, physician offices, hospitals, and healthcare practices required Position Overview Summit Medical Supply is seeking a motivated and professional Marketing Representative to build relationships with healthcare providers and promote our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) products and services. This position focuses on visiting clinics, physician practices, hospitals, chiropractors, physical therapy offices, and other healthcare facilities to generate referrals and grow company accounts. The ideal candidate is outgoing, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable building professional relationships within the medical community. Responsibilities Visit physician offices, clinics, hospitals, urgent cares, and specialty practices to market company DME products and services Build and maintain strong referral relationships with healthcare providers and office staff Educate providers on available DME products, insurance coverage, and ordering processes Deliver marketing materials, product information, and demonstrations as needed Identify new business opportunities and develop referral accounts Maintain regular follow-up with existing referral sources Track marketing activities, referrals, and account progress Coordinate with intake, billing, and delivery teams to ensure smooth patient service Attend networking events, healthcare functions, and community outreach opportunities Stay informed on company products, insurance requirements, and industry updates Qualifications Previous experience in medical sales, DME marketing, healthcare marketing, or physician outreach preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare environments preferred Experience with EMR systems, referrals, or insurance processes is a plus Preferred Skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Comfortable speaking with physicians, office managers, and clinical staff Goal-oriented and motivated by business growth Ability to present products and services confidently Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines is helpful Compensation & Benefits Competitive base pay plus commission/bonus opportunities Flexible schedule Opportunities for growth within the company
