Job Description

Marketing Coordinator Location:
Beaverton, OR Contract length: 12 months
Schedule:
Hybrid in Beaverton, OR (WFH Fridays)
Pay:
$26-31.34/hr, DOE The Planet Group is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our well-known retail brand on a 12-month contract! This role is 40 hours per week and will be hybrid in Beaverton, OR, working remotely on Fridays.
Marketing Coordinator Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and minimum of 2-4 years directly relevant work experience
Note:
One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs Detail-oriented Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel specifically) Experience with Keynote Ability to build relationships Responsive in communications Experience in the footwear industry is a plus Bonus points for experience building marketing plans Product management experience (has worked with product, understands how product goes to market, etc.)
Marketing Coordinator Description:
Create product and brand demand Understand external constituents Effectively present company or product information Provide training to ensure premium execution of marketing programs Help to direct and elevate consumer-facing assets to ensure consistent delivery of category programs Create tools and best practices and drive global awareness and adoption Maximize Merch Center to support category game plans and merch excellence Engage with vendors to meet marketing needs with regards to timelines and budget Own and drive communication with stakeholders Work with product/merchandising teams Potential gathering of samples/shipping to studios Assist with source copywriting Able to travel locally around the Portland area occasionally
