The Opportunity As a Marketing Coordinator, you will help bring our brand to life across digital channels and community events. You'll support the creation and publishing of content for social media, email, and our website, while also helping plan and execute events that connect us with our members and community. From updating web pages to capturing and sharing event highlights, your work will play an important role in how we communicate and engage. This role blends creativity, organization, and data-driven thinking. You'll monitor engagement, support marketing analytics and research, and collaborate with teams across the organization to keep projects moving forward. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, pays attention to detail, and is excited to build their marketing skills in a collaborative, community-focused environment. Major Responsibilities Content, Digital Marketing, & Engagement Assist in the execution and development of internal and external marketing materials by updating or creating content for various communication channels, including the employee intranet, social media, flyers, landing pages, and email, both print and digital. Assist with updating the MSCU website, including blogs, events, SEM implementation, etc. Schedule and post engaging content on social media platforms, monitor interactions, and analyze social media performance. Assist with planning and executing marketing events (e.g., Shred Events, Fundraisers, etc.). Attend these events (including Financial Reality Fairs and volunteering events) to capture key moments and insights and share compelling storytelling that enhances brand messaging and engagement across marketing channels. Data Analytics & Market Research Support the team with various data projects, such as user analysis, AB testing results, inbound source analysis, loan reporting analysis, marketing reporting, etc. Identify and evaluate competitive products' characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintain research databases. Marketing Operations & Team Support Provide general support for the marketing team, including communicating with various departments, updating forms, and ordering promotional materials for the credit union. CRM management - maintain and update member data within HubSpot Credit Union Philosophy, Mission, & Compliance Embrace the movement to foster change and make a meaningful impact within the Community by exhibiting our corporate values of Integrity, Empowerment, Respect, and Commitment to promote professional growth and prosperity within the organization and the neighborhoods we serve. To maintain Credit Union goals, it is the responsibility of each employee to strive for continuous process improvement and quality of service to internal and external customers. Abide by all federal, state and local laws including, but not limited to: The Bank Secrecy Act, including the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCen); Uniform Commercial Code (UCC); Federal Reserve Bank; and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Position Requirements 3-5+ years of professional marketing, social media, or related experience that may include internships, work/study programs, coops, and summer employment Completion of one of the following: (1) A two-year college degree, (2) a specialized certification or licensing, (3) specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program Ability to travel to branches and community events Experience with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is strongly preferred Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and layout/design skills are essential Analytical skills to interpret data and track campaign performance Effective time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks with interweaving schedules Physical and Mental Abilities Sitting the majority of the time. The ability to occasionally lift, push, pull or carry up to 10 pounds. Occasional bending, squatting, twisting, climbing, reaching above, at or below shoulder level, and kneeling. The ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy. The ability to effectively interact with all personality types in stressful situations. Excellent ability to communicate effectively.
