• Join our dynamic team as a Marketing Event Coordinator, where your enthusiasm and organizational prowess will drive memorable events that elevate our brand and foster meaningful connections with our community. In this role, you'll orchestrate a variety of engaging events—from corporate gatherings to community outreach initiatives—ensuring each detail aligns with our strategic marketing goals. Your energetic approach and meticulous planning will create impactful experiences that resonate with audiences and boost our visibility. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of marketing events, including trade shows, product launches, community festivals, and promotional campaigns. Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering arrangements, audiovisual setups, and décor to ensure seamless execution. Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, caterers, and entertainment providers to secure the best terms and uphold budget guidelines. Develop comprehensive event budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation for maximum impact. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and strategies that enhance event attendance and engagement. Oversee guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that promotes positive customer experiences and brand loyalty. Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure all aspects of the event align with branding standards and organizational objectives. Travel to event locations •expenses paid• airplane travel is expected. We cover airfare, hotel, food credits and car rentals. Skills Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and vendor agreements. Proven experience in event marketing and event planning with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors, stakeholders, and attendees effectively. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial management of events. Customer service orientation with a friendly approach to guest interactions. Ability to manage time efficiently in fast-paced environments; prior banquet, catering, restaurant, hotel experience or fundraising background is advantageous. Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
