You will bridge the gap between digital storytelling and physical community engagement to help prospective clients find our care. With a commitment to fostering engagement and promoting our mission, you will play a vital part in strengthening relationships, managing social media channels, and supporting outreach initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Local Referral Outreach:
Identify, contact, and build relationships with local doctors, school guidance counselors, HR managers, and allied wellness professionals.
Event Coordination:
Organize local workshops, open houses, or community mental health presentations (both virtual and in-person).
Content & Social Media:
Create, schedule, and publish educational content (blogs, newsletters, and social media posts) that highlights our therapists' specialties.
Local SEO & Listings:
Keep our Google Business Profile active and updated with fresh updates, FAQs, and posts to capture local search traffic. Develop and implement community outreach strategies to increase engagement and visibility Manage social media platforms by creating compelling content, scheduling posts, and monitoring interactions Represent the organization at public events, community meetings, and outreach activities Assist with data collection for program evaluation, social media analytics, and fundraising efforts Contribute to strategic planning sessions to align marketing campaigns with organizational goals
Required Qualifications Experience:
2+ years in marketing, community outreach, or public relations (healthcare or wellness industry preferred).
Compliance Knowledge:
Clear understanding of HIPAA compliance, confidentiality laws, and ethical boundaries regarding mental health marketing.
Skills:
Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later), email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and basic design software (e.g., Canva).
Traits:
High emotional intelligence, warm communication style, and strong self-direction. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively Experience in social media management and social media marketing strategies Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to reach broader community segments Demonstrated experience in community outreach Basic understanding of marketing principles, business development, and communications Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills Proficiency in data collection tools and social media analytics platforms Ability to self-manage a flexible schedule
