Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic part-time team member to help support our growing yarn and alpaca fiber business in Sisters Oregon. This position is ideal for a retiree, fiber enthusiast, or someone looking to turn their hobby and passion into meaningful part-time work. Responsibilities Independently sell at trade shows and vendor events Independently sell on site at the farm when needed Positively engage with customers and maintain current relationships with repeat customers Help organize and manage inventory (on-site and on the computer) Assist in the processing of raw alpaca fiber Photograph yarn and fiber products for marketing and online sales Support product displays and merchandising Assist with general business operations as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge of knitting, crochet, weaving, or spinning Interest in alpacas, natural fiber, yarn, or fiber arts Organized, honest, trustworthy and dependable Comfortable working independently Basic photography skills required Ability to lift and transport event materials when needed Bonus Skills Marketing, social media, or branding experience Experience growing small businesses or online sales Previous experience in face to face sales Schedule Part-time, make your own hours/very flexible Some weekend availability required for trade shows and events Pay DOE We are excited to add another member to our team who can solely focus on expanding the business and share the story of alpaca fiber with customers and the fiber community.
