Social Media and Marketing Coordinator Smithtown, NY Hybrid work $700

  • Full-time The Social Media and Marketing Manager will work with company leadership to identify areas of opportunity for marketing promotion via social media channels, primarily Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tiktok.
This candidate will be responsible for creative content generation, scheduling posts and community management of all social channels. They will also be responsible for website generation and maintenance. They will be responsible for any marketing and promotion areas of all our brands:

Long Island Catering Company Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action Optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company's social content Maintain email program, contact database and create engaging campaigns. Create video content for YouTube, TikTok and related platforms Design and implement social media strategy to align with organization goals and vision Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions. Develop marketing plans and calendars Work directly with leadership and location managers to ensure proper promotion of venue happenings Proactively monitor and track online and social media posts from campaigns, partners, and influencers Assist with digital advertising campaigns and promoted posts Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner Manage database of photo and video content to determine a schedule for content creation Understand seasonal changes within our multiple lines of business to promote menu changes and major venue events Potential for other assigned duties Restaurant/Hospitality experience is a plus
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, or equivalent, or enrolled in such a program 2-3 Years of social media marketing experience Direct experience utilizing social media management tools (Sprout, Buffer) Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva, Wordpress, Constant Contact Solid understand of Facebook Advertising platform. Flyer, poster, banner and menu design experience
Requirements:
Must be willing to travel to visit our venues to capture content (within Suffolk County to our locations and catered events) Must be creative and show familiarity with all social media platforms Must have a proven track record for social media account engagement and growth Must have excellent photography and editing skills Must be detailed oriented and organized Must be self-driven with an entrepreneurial attitude always looking to be ahead of the competition Must have a passion for food and beverage Must have impeccable communication and writing skills

Do you have experience with website design? This is a 40 hour per week job, generally working one weekend day as these are our busiest days of the week. Traveling to our locations and catering events to capture content is required. Roughly one evening per week may be required to capture content. Can you work this schedule?
