Social Media & Community Marketing CoordinatorCausability Nonprofit in partnership with Shakti Creative Wellness Center About Us Causability is a nonprofit organization supporting creators, artists, and community-centered initiatives through grants, collaborative programming, arts engagement, and social impact projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area and nationally. In partnership with Shakti Creative Wellness Center in Richardson, Texas, Causability helps develop innovative programming that combines creativity, wellness, education, mindfulness, intentional art, and community connection. We are seeking a creative, organized, and mission-aligned Social Media & Community Marketing Coordinator to help grow awareness, engagement, fundraising visibility, and participation across both organizations. Mission-driven creative nonprofit seeking community-focused storyteller and digital content creator. Position Summary The Social Media & Community Marketing Coordinator will lead digital marketing and community engagement efforts for both Causability Nonprofit and Shakti Creative Wellness Center.
This role includes:
Social media management Content creation Event promotion Community engagement Email marketing Photography and short-form video production Campaign support for workshops, fundraising initiatives, exhibitions, grants, and community programs This position is ideal for someone passionate about creativity, wellness, nonprofit impact, authentic storytelling, and meaningful community connection. Responsibilities Social Media & Content Creation Create and schedule engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Create reels, stories, graphics, and promotional campaigns Write captions, newsletters, and promotional copy Maintain consistent branding, tone, and visual storytelling across both organizations Community Marketing & Outreach Promote workshops, exhibitions, sound events, classes, nonprofit campaigns, and community events Help increase event attendance, donor engagement, and public awareness Assist with community partnerships and outreach efforts Support artist and creator visibility initiatives Marketing Operations Maintain content calendar and scheduling systems Monitor analytics and engagement performance Assist with email marketing Coordinate promotional materials for fundraising campaigns Nonprofit & Organizational Support Support awareness campaigns for creator grants and community initiatives Help communicate organizational impact through storytelling and media Assist with donor-facing and community engagement communications QualificationsPreferred Qualifications Experience managing social media for a business, nonprofit, wellness center, arts organization, or creative brand Strong photography, video, and editing skills Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools Strong written communication and storytelling abilities Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and collaboratively Passion for creativity, wellness, nonprofit work, or community engagement Bonus Qualifications Experience with event marketing Experience with email marketing platforms Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Later, or similar scheduling platforms Nonprofit communications or fundraising experience Schedule Part-Time Position Approximately 30 hours per week Flexible hybrid schedule Combination of remote work and on-site presence in Richardson, Texas Some evening and weekend event coverage may be required for workshops, exhibitions, community events, and nonprofit programming.
