Entry-Level / No experience required We are seeking a reliable and motivated Event Setup Assistant to help with the setup and breakdown of large events featuring jumping balloons and inflatable attractions. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking for part-time weekend work and hands-on experience in event operations. The assistant will work closely with an experienced event staff member, helping ensure events are set up safely, efficiently, and on time. Key Responsibilities Assist with loading, unloading, and setting up jumping balloons and inflatable equipment Help secure inflatables properly and safely at event locations Assist during breakdown and cleanup after events Follow safety guidelines and instructions from lead event personnel Provide basic customer support during events as needed Help maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized Qualifications No prior experience required (training provided) Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend events Able to perform light to moderate physical activity (lifting, carrying, standing) Comfortable working outdoors and at large gatherings Must be able to pass a background check Preferred Skills (Not Required) Friendly, positive attitude Willingness to learn Experience with events, customer service, or physical work is a plus Work Environment Outdoor and indoor event venues Fast-paced, hands-on setting Weekend-focused schedule Why This Job Is a Great Fit Entry-level position with on-the-job training Flexible part-time hours Gain experience working large events Work alongside experienced event professionals
