Job Description

This is an on-site role based in Galveston and League City, TX. We are seeking a detail oriented and dependable Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of marketing initiatives for Island Famous . This role reports to the Director of Culture, Training and Community Engagement and supports marketing campaigns across partnering closely with the Director of CTC and our marketing agency. The Marketing Coordinator will assist with day-to-day marketing execution including content publishing, campaign coordination, reporting, and maintaining brand consistency across locations. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating strategy into polished, on-brand deliverables, and takes pride in executional excellence. Success in this role means ensuring marketing initiatives are executed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities Execute brand and content strategies developed by internal leadership in collaboration with our marketing agency across digital and community channels Manage and maintain the content calendar to ensure timely and consistent publishing Create, schedule, and publish social media content aligned with campaign briefs and brand standards Capture and edit photos and short form video content as needed to support promotions and brand storytelling Monitor social media platforms, respond to guest feedback professionally, and escalate concerns when appropriate Track campaign and platform performance and assist in preparing summary reports for leadership Support coordination of marketing materials and help maintain brand consistency across all store locations Support planning and on-site execution of community marketing initiatives and outreach events Provide project coordination and day-to-day support to the Director of CTC, including marketing tasks that keep campaigns moving. Ability to execute deliverables accurately, on deadline and in alignment with brand standards
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong written communication skills with the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven follow through Experience creating and editing short form visual content for social media platforms Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with Adobe InDesign or similar design tools Comfortable using social media scheduling, analytics, and reporting tools Strong accountability for delivering high- quality work on deadline and on brand Professional and composed communication when engaging with guests and community partners Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong reliability, organization, and willingness to learn
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred 2 + years of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital communications Experience supporting social media platforms and marketing campaigns Experience assisting with community events, promotions, or outreach initiatives preferred
Work Schedule:
This position is a full-time role, primarily working Monday through Friday during established home office business hours. The position will work primarily in-office or at our various restaurant locations and within the communities we serve. Evening, weekend, or holiday work may occasionally be required for community events or marketing activations.
