SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Beverage Services Assistant provides logistical support to the Beverage Lead before, during, and after Special, Private, and Internal events. Responsibilities include coordinating the transport, setup, and breakdown of bar equipment and supplies, managing stock levels, and ensuring all beverage service areas are properly staged and maintained. The role works closely with the event and beverage team to ensure timely deliveries, efficient flow of service, and adherence to operational timelines. They assist with inventory tracking, equipment checks, and compliance with safety and alcohol regulations. This position is essential in maintaining the organization and efficiency of beverage operations across events.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
Provides a signature guest experience through outstanding customer service. Greets guests and vendors as they enter and leave the event. Locks and secures the garden at the conclusion of an event Enforces standard venue procedures, rules, and guidelines; report to supervisor any violations. Assist Sales and Beverage Manager, and Beverage Lead in execution of F&B service Provides guests with directions or other venue information. Maintains knowledge of cocktail recipes and general products Assists and performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Food and Beverage / Bar service experience Bi-lingual or multi-lingual is a plus. Good communication skills, remains polite, courteous, and helpful at all times. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check. Evenings, weekend, and/or holiday work may be required to deliver programs or to provide staff support to events. Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, crouching or light lifting (up to 75 Ibs). Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or delivering programs in varying environmental conditions.
