This role works closely with leadership and the event team to execute marketing strategies, manage social media, and drive bookings through digital and community outreach. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and excited to grow within the event and hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

Manage and schedule social media content (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn) Assist in creating marketing campaigns to promote events and venue bookings Capture photo/video content during events, meetings, networking, and more Respond to online inquiries and assist with lead generation efforts Update website content and event listings as needed Coordinate with vendors and partners for cross-promotion opportunities Track marketing performance and engagement metrics Support branding efforts to ensure consistency across all platforms Create and manage email newsletters (weekly/monthly updates, promotions, announcements) Write and publish blog content to support SEO, storytelling, and brand visibility

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field) or equivalent experience Experience with social media management and content creation Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic knowledge of marketing tools (Canva, Meta Business Suite, etc.) Highly organized with attention to detail Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Availability for occasional evenings/weekends for event coverage Why Join Riverview Centre?
