ProspectBlue has partnered with a company in Richmond, VA and is seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator to assist with the planning and delivery of internal engagement initiatives, client experiences, and branded programs. This position partners across departments to help execute events, gifting campaigns, and employee-focused activities that support the organization's overall brand presence and relationship-building efforts. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys managing details, coordinating logistics, and contributing to high-quality experiences in a fast-moving corporate environment. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will contribute to the successful execution of marketing and engagement initiatives by supporting a variety of operational and coordination efforts, including: Identifying and reviewing venues, suppliers, and service providers for meetings and events Assisting with event logistics including catering, travel coordination, accommodations, entertainment, transportation, scheduling, and onsite support Utilizing event management systems and registration platforms to support attendee communications and event operations Preparing marketing and event-related materials such as invitations, signage, guest lists, name tags, and presentation collateral Supporting company merchandise and promotional inventory, including fulfillment, shipping, ordering, and packaging Assisting with client appreciation and employee gifting programs, including tracking and coordination Working alongside internal stakeholders to ensure events and initiatives are delivered smoothly and on schedule Maintaining records, reporting metrics, and compiling post-event information to improve future programs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience preferred Approximately 2-4 years of experience in marketing support, event coordination, hospitality, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide consistent project updates Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously in a deadline-driven setting Collaborative mindset with a service-oriented approach Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs Familiarity with event management software platforms is beneficial
