Job Description
Seasonal Event Setup & Takedown Crew Indian Crossing Casino | Waupaca, WI Part-Time | Seasonal (June-December, with potential for extension) The Indian Crossing Casino is a historic waterfront restaurant, bar, wedding, and event venue located on the beautiful Chain O' Lakes in Waupaca, Wisconsin. We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Event Setup & Takedown Crew for the busy event season. This position plays a critical role in preparing for and breaking down weddings, concerts, festivals, and private events. No two days are the same, and flexibility is a must. Responsibilities Set up and tear down weddings, concerts, private events, and special occasions Move tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, décor, and event equipment Load and unload equipment and supplies Transport equipment to and from storage units and event locations Assist with venue and grounds preparation before and after events Maintain organization of storage areas and equipment Support event managers with additional operational tasks as needed Schedule Part-time, seasonal position Hours vary based on event schedule Must be available for a combination of early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays Schedule may change weekly depending on event volume Requirements Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds Comfortable performing physical labor indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout an entire shift Reliable transportation and strong attendance record Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license required Preferred Qualifications Experience in event setup, hospitality, warehouse, construction, landscaping, moving, or related fields Experience driving U-Hauls, box trucks, or trailers is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for team members who are dependable, flexible, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
