  • Full-time Event Sales & Business Development ManagerAbout the Role Presley Paige is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Event Sales & Business Development Manager to lead sales efforts for our custom event and balloon installation division.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through a combination of lead conversion, strategic outreach, relationship building, and proactive business development. The ideal candidate is equal parts salesperson, relationship builder, and strategist—someone who thrives on creating opportunities, building partnerships, and turning conversations into long-term clients. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Growth Manage all incoming event inquiries from website, social media, email, referrals, and marketing campaigns. Lead prospective clients through the sales process from discovery call to signed contract. Develop customized proposals, estimates, and presentations. Consistently follow up with leads to maximize conversion rates. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase event revenue. Business Development & Outreach Proactively generate new business through outreach and relationship-building efforts. Develop partnerships with universities, sororities, corporations, event planners, venues, agencies, and community organizations. Research and identify new markets, industries, and opportunities for growth. Attend networking events, conferences, trade shows, and industry functions to generate leads. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and strategic partners. Execute outreach campaigns through email, phone, LinkedIn, social media, and in-person networking. Establish and nurture relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals. CRM Management & Sales Operations Own and manage the company's CRM system, ensuring all leads, opportunities, communications, and sales activities are accurately tracked. Develop and maintain sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting. Monitor lead sources, conversion rates, sales activity, and customer engagement metrics. Create and maintain sales workflows, automations, and follow-up sequences. Generate weekly and monthly sales reports for leadership. Ensure consistent follow-up and accountability throughout the sales process. Client Experience Serve as the primary point of contact during the sales process. Understand client goals and recommend creative event solutions that align with their vision and budget. Deliver exceptional customer service and communication throughout the booking process. Ensure a seamless transition from sales to production and event execution teams. Brand Representation Represent Presley Paige with professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm. Help position Presley Paige as a national leader in custom event design, balloon installations, and sorority recruitment experiences. Support marketing initiatives that drive awareness, lead generation, and sales growth. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, event sales, hospitality sales, or related fields. Demonstrated experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com, Zoho, or similar systems. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented. Passion for creativity, events, marketing, and customer experience.
