Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Sales Manager, where your leadership and sales expertise will drive the growth and success of our resort. In this vibrant role, you will oversee the development and execution of sales strategies, foster strong guest relations, and lead a talented team to achieve revenue goals. Your passion for hospitality management and exceptional customer service will help us deliver memorable experiences to our guests while maximizing occupancy and profitability. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to attract new clients and retain existing ones, increasing overall revenue. Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed performance targets, fostering a collaborative and high-energy work environment. Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key partners to expand market reach. Coordinate with the front desk, guest services, and general manager to ensure seamless guest experiences from booking to check-out. Manage hotel revenue through effective revenue management techniques, including pricing strategies and inventory control. Oversee hotel management operations related to sales activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on sales performance. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, standards of hospitality management, and phone etiquette across all communication channels including multi-line phone systems. Monitor guest relations closely by addressing guest inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently to uphold excellent guest services standards. Supervise night audit procedures when necessary to ensure financial accuracy and operational smoothness during overnight hours. Utilize hospitality management software tools to track sales metrics, analyze trends, and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality sales with a strong background in supervising teams within a resort or hotel environment. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and guest services excellence. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging with diverse clientele. Strong leadership qualities with demonstrated success in supervising staff members across various departments such as front desk or human resources. Knowledge of revenue management principles, budgeting processes, and hospitality industry standards. Experience in handling multi-line phone systems, practicing professional phone etiquette, and managing night audit procedures. Familiarity with hotel experience including front desk operations, guest services, resort management, and human resources practices is essential. Excellent communication skills paired with proactive problem-solving abilities to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
