Position Expectation:
A Major Account Manager is responsible for growing our business by developing strong value-based relationships that promote our products and services. As an MAM you will be specifically focusing on growing service, rental, and parts business for the branch. This expectation will come from both new and existing customers that you retain and identify in our territory.
Primary Responsibilities:
Target revenue producing accounts and obtain their business through value added strategies Generate and provide solutions for customers as it pertains to their particular needs Identify new customers and develop territory awareness Retain and increase existing business within our current customer base Document customer data and provide information and opportunities for accounts in the territory Develop professional skills by continuous education of the industry, products, and sales strategies
Basic Skills/Requirements:
Excellent Customer Service, communication, and multi-tasking skills Strong business acumen High cognitive skills, problem solving ability, and quantitative analysis Complete understanding of company systems, procedures, process, and operations Proficient in
Microsoft Office Previous Experience and Education:
Associate or bachelor's Degree preferred 5 Years sales experience in warehouse or industrial products preferable Proven success in developing, presenting, and closing sales agreements
Physical/Other Requirements:
Standing, walking semi-long distances, twisting, and bending frequently Ability to lift 25 pounds Reliable vehicle - DL required with clear driving record Travel on occasion
