CONFIDENTIAL GSM / SALES DIRECTOR OPPORTUNITY
- High-Volume Import Dealership | Chandler, AZ A successful, high-volume import dealership in Chandler, Arizona is conducting a confidential search for an experienced General Sales Manager (GSM) or Sales Director . This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven automotive leader with a track proven track record of Success- Production- and a High Performer who is experienced with driving sales growth, developing high-performing teams, and maximizing dealership profitability.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current or recent experience as a General Sales Manager (GSM) or Sales Director Minimum 3+ years of successful leadership experience in one of these roles Proven track record in a high-volume automotive dealership environment Strong references and verifiable performance history Import dealership experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all new and used vehicle sales operations Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and retain top-performing sales professionals and managers Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed volume, gross profit, and market share objectives Establish accountability and performance standards throughout the sales organization Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews for sales staff and management Manage inventory levels, aging units, pricing strategies, and merchandising Monitor and improve lead management, showroom traffic conversion, and digital sales performance Ensure proper handling of manufacturer programs, incentives, rebates, and sales compliance requirements Review and reconcile deals to maximize profitability and maintain accuracy Work closely with Finance, Fixed Operations, and Executive Leadership to achieve dealership goals Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans for continuous improvement Foster a positive, high-energy culture focused on customer satisfaction, employee development, and results Maintain strong relationships with OEM representatives and ensure compliance with manufacturer standards
