Job Description

Vice President, Corporate Partnership Sales, Big League Wiffle Ball Salary:
negotiated salary plus incentive based opportunity to shape the very first professional Wiffle Ball League (@blwwiffleball) with highly engaged team owners that include David Blitzer, Marc Lasry, David Adelman, Mike Michelson, Kevin Costner, Dude Perfect, Gary Vanyerchuk, Nelly, Julio Jones, Howard Warren Buffett, Molly Bloom, Ron Biscardi and more. BLW's summer season is currently underway on Sunday's in Atlanta, GA and televised on ESPN+, ESPN2, Fubo Sports Network, 35 other broadcast channels around the country (many Gray Media),and YouTube. The Vice President, Partnership Sales is responsible for driving long-term corporate partnerships revenue for Big League Wiffle Ball. The position and will be focused on generating revenue from national, regional and local companies across marquee team assets and properties. The role will include responsibilities in shaping overall strategy and direct and continuous contact with corporate partners. Duties & Responsibilities Identify, source, and develop new partnerships on a national, regional, and local scale through research, benchmarking, and business intelligence Develop creative go-to-market strategies to secure partners in various categories Continuously build relationships with key corporate decision makers to generate warm leads and introductions Close long deals with sponsors Work closely with key team owners and stakeholders to strategize integrated sponsorship opportunities across traditional and non-traditional platforms Participate in individual weekly reporting to track prospects and partners through the sales funnel Achieve annual department sales goal/assist department in achieving annual overall revenue targets Other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong focus on revenue growth while managing day-to-day operations and developing sponsors Flexible and reliable teammate and mentor; always acting in the best interest of the organization Keen attention to detail, strong problem solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to maintain productive, positive relationships through clear communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable and really good at leading sales meetings and having direct dialogue with corporate decision makers Ability to build strategic and innovative sponsor campaigns and deliver through compelling presentations Essential Requirements Bachelor's degree required 5+ years of revenue generation partnership sales experience A track record of driving 7 to 8-figure revenue growth in a related sports/entertainment industry High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point Position can be based at home or at the office with HQ in Scottsdale, Arizona with frequent travel The ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
