Position Overview:
LEUCO is seeking a dynamic, hands-on West Coast Regional Manager to lead our sales operations across the West Coast. This is a player-coach role responsible for the region?s overall sales operations ? leading and developing both the sales and route teams while personally managing a focused book of key accounts, including a select number of out-of-state strategic accounts. The role also manages the LEUCO Approved Partners and resellers in the territory. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, North America, the West Coast Regional Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth and profitability across the region. Regular out-of-state travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Player-Coach Leadership:
Lead by example ? personally manage a book of key accounts while mentoring, coaching, and leading the regional sales and route teams to meet or exceed sales targets by executing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
Drive Growth:
Exceed regional volume and profit goals through new account development, growth in existing accounts, and implementing margin improvement plans.
Sales & Route Team Structure:
Oversee and manage the West Coast sales and route team structure and customer management needs. Identify staffing requirements and recommend new hires to the Director of Sales, North America.
Route Planning:
Optimize route planning for Route Drivers and Account Managers to ensure efficiency and effectiveness; review quarterly to keep routes streamlined.
LEUCO Approved Partners & Resellers:
Manage and develop the LEUCO Approved Partners and resellers in the territory, ensuring they are supported, aligned to LEUCO?s standards and pricing, and contributing to regional growth.
Key Account Management:
Personally own and grow a focused book of key accounts, including a select number of out-of-state strategic accounts, acting as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor.
Customer Engagement:
Maintain regular communication, including customer visits, with top customers to ensure a high standard of service and support.
Travel:
Willing and able to travel out of state regularly to support key accounts, channel partners, and the regional team.
Budget & Forecasting:
Support leadership in developing annual budget targets by contributing forecasted revenue based on sales trends and current pipeline.
CRM Management:
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the regional team?s information in the CRM system while maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
Training & Development:
Implement training for the regional team and coordinate monthly or quarterly product training sessions.
Account Management:
Manage the transfer of accounts from Business Developer to Account Manager and develop strategic plans to maximize account growth.
Performance Monitoring:
Track and monitor the performance of direct reports, assigning measurable goals, and conducting regular reviews.
Strategic Collaboration:
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with company objectives.
Reporting:
Generate monthly business development reports to measure regional and individual sales performance against budget goals.
Market Development:
Develop sales and marketing initiatives to increase growth and expand the customer base within the West Coast market.
