Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented
ROUTE SALES MANAGER/DSD
(Direct Store Delivery) to lead our sales and delivery operations across assigned territories. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing daily route deliveries, building strong customer relationships, and maximizing sales opportunities through effective merchandising and upselling techniques. Your leadership will ensure timely deliveries, excellent customer service, and efficient route management, all while maintaining a focus on safety and organizational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and develop your skills in sales, logistics, and team coordination. Duties Manage daily route driving schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to retail stores and outlets. Conduct heavy lifting during loading, unloading, and stock replenishment activities with safety as a priority. Maintain accurate pricing information and apply promotional discounts as needed to support sales targets. Upsell additional products or services to customers by identifying their needs and presenting suitable solutions. Perform merchandising duties by organizing displays, ensuring product visibility, and maintaining store standards. Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and foster long-term relationships. Utilize organizational skills to plan efficient routes, track deliveries, and keep detailed logs of transactions and inventory. Demonstrate strong driving skills with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent where applicable. Apply math skills for inventory counts, sales calculations, and route planning accuracy. Leverage military experience or discipline to uphold safety protocols and maintain operational excellence. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving or route sales management with a focus on DSD operations. Strong communication skills to engage with customers confidently and professionally. Knowledge of pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and basic math for sales calculations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes. Excellent organizational skills for route planning, inventory management, and record keeping. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not mandatory depending on territory requirements. Experience in merchandising, customer service, sales, or related roles is highly desirable. Military background is a plus for discipline-driven approach to safety and operational procedures. $1,200.00 - $1,600.00 per week
