This role is focused on the specialty ingredients sector, where the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving new business development and market expansion. The position requires a professional who can communicate effectively with R D, procurement, and senior stakeholders, with an understanding of formulation-driven sales cycles. Responsibilities Conduct heavy field-based prospecting and cold outreach to acquire new logos and grow territories. Engage in aggressive new account acquisition, consistently building a pipeline from scratch. Demonstrate measurable revenue impact through significant deals and percentage growth. Sell specialty ingredients directly to manufacturers, focusing on food & beverage, nutraceuticals, personal care, pet food/feed, and agrochemicals. Manage and expand large territories independently, driving market growth. Utilize industry experience to connect with direct competitors or closely related suppliers. Ensure minimal focus on account maintenance, with a strong emphasis on new business development. Travel extensively to engage with potential clients and establish new accounts. Requirements Bachelor's degree is required. Experience in the specialty ingredients industry is non-negotiable. Proven success in managing and expanding large territories. Comfortable with significant travel for field selling and cold prospecting. Work Hours Monday through Friday, first shift. Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance (eligible after 90 days). 401(k) with up to 4% match (after 6 months). 5 sick days annually and paid holidays. Vacation starts at 7 days (years 1-2) and increases up to 13 days with tenure.
Additional Details Salary Range:
