Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The role of Regional Sales Manager is to lead the company's efforts to maintain and expand relationships with key dealers/consultants/chain accounts within an identified regional territory and customers. Responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The Regional Sales Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company. The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service and management resources, in order to meet company and representative group objectives and customers' expectations. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts. Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis. Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. Forecast sales by product type and time period within assigned account base. Evaluate potential dealer and chain account customers for future product and sales volume potential. Plans, coordinates and conducts training events for key dealer/consultants and end-user customers Achieves assigned sales quota in designated territory accounts and meets assigned expectations for profitability Achieves strategic customer acquisition objectives defined by company management. Completes strategic customer account plans and maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards. Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame. Provides written monthly report detailing current activity, competitive analysis and future sales opportunities for company to President and Director of Sales and Marketing. Enlists the support of non-departmental resources such as: engineering staff, technical service staff, and other sales and management resources as needed. Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management Works closely with customer service representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution Develop necessary sales and marketing tools and resources to meet sales goals and objectives Other duties as assigned Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
Required:
Four year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience Minimum 2 years of strategic foodservice sales experience in the multi-unit operator environment or relevant work experience. Software proficiency (AutoQuotes, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
