Summary Be part of our team as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Grand Hyatt features 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef food & beverage venues. Set within the perfect backdrop of scenic Indian Wells, this property is a destination favorite as it is positioned to take hospitality to a new level in the destination. The Director of Sales and Marketing has direct oversight of the Sales and Marketing operation of the hotel. The DOSM has responsibility of the Sales and Marketing Budget/P&L, revenue forecasting, advertising, marketing, developing and writing business plans, and ownership meetings. The DOSM is responsible for the supervision of sales and marketing managers, trainees, interns, and administrative staff. Additional responsibilities include the recruitment and hiring of sales staff, training, managing and coaching sales managers in their selling process in order to meetpany goals and maximize hotel revenues. Must be proficient in generalputer knowledge and able to train and monitor both the group and transient contractual agreement process, quoting rates, sending referrals, setting traces, and the management of retention, reactivation, and acquisition accounts. The DOSM reports directly to the General Manager and Regional Vice President of Sales responsible for the hotel. Communication andanizational skills are of the utmost importance. The salary range for this position is $185,000 - $215,000. This is the pay range for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.
