This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role; you'll be in the field most days, building face-to-face relationships with the people who refer families to home care. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running. This role begins with a focused push to build deep referral relationships in the Tri-Valley area (Livermore/Pleasanton), with planned expansion into East Contra Costa County (Brentwood/Discovery Bay) by month four as your pipeline matures. If you already have relationships with hospital discharge planners, SNF case managers, hospice teams, or senior living communities in this market, we want to talk to you today. What You'll Do Identify, build, and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, SNFs, hospice agencies, assisted living communities, elder law attorneys, fiduciaries, and geriatric care managers Conduct regular in-person visits, lunch-and-learns, and presentations to referral sources Manage a structured weekly activity plan and pipeline using our CRM Respond quickly to inbound referrals and convert them into new clients Represent Visiting Angels at community events, health fairs, and networking groups Track and report on referral source activity and admission outcomes Collaborate with our care team to ensure smooth client onboarding What We're Looking For 2+ years of business development/sales experience in home care, home health, hospice, DME, or a related healthcare referral-based industry; strongly preferred Existing relationships with referral sources in the Livermore/Pleasanton or Brentwood/Discovery Bay market are a major plus RNs, social workers, or other licensed clinicians with prior liaison/BD experience are also encouraged to apply Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/admission targets Comfortable with daily face-to-face prospecting; this is not a desk job Strong organizational skills and CRM discipline Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally throughout the day Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Why Join Visiting Angels Competitive base salary ($60,000
