Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager / Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts for a prominent North County San Diego select service hotel. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead business development initiatives, cultivate strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth through strategic outside sales activities. Your leadership will ensure the hotel's market presence expands, and customer satisfaction remains at the forefront. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales professional eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to attract new corporate and group clients within the North County region. Lead outside sales efforts by identifying prospects, conducting presentations, and closing high-value deals aligned with hotel goals. Manage key accounts through proactive communication, tailored solutions, and exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business. Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate leads. Utilize CRM tools such as Lighthouse, Agency 360, Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze data trends, and optimize outreach efforts. Oversee the management of sales pipelines, forecast revenue projections, and report on performance metrics regularly. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior sales staff, fostering a high-performance team focused on achieving ambitious targets. Manage all group documentation, including rooming lists, contract updates, and PMS sales account entries, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Work with GM on key sales efforts and be a team player. Skills Proven success in outside sales, particularly in B2B (business-to-business) environments within the hospitality or related industries. Strong management skills with experience leading teams and driving strategic initiatives. Expertise in marketing strategies that support business development efforts. Knowledge of technology sales tools such as Salesforce for pipeline management and analysis. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to craft mutually beneficial agreements. Demonstrated ability in business development, account management, and building long-term client relationships. Analytical skills to interpret market data, identify opportunities, and adapt strategies accordingly. Exceptional customer service orientation combined with leadership qualities that motivate teams toward excellence.
