Founded in 1967, Casa is one of the only treatment centers in Southern California designed to specifically meet the needs of women in recovery. Casa Treatment Center is a residential, outpatient, and sober living substance abuse facility headquartered in Pasadena. Casa is licensed by the State of California Department of Health Care Services and accredited as a behavioral health care program by the Joint Commission.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager serves as Casa Treatment Center's outreach presence in the professional community. The focus is to cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative, referral partnerships with insurance companies, local clinicians, hospitals, college health centers, and treatment centers to help reach individuals who need substance abuse treatment and increase Casa's census. The Business Development Manager will create and implement an outreach strategy to introduce Casa to the insurance referral sources, addiction centers and behavioral health community, to name a few. They will regularly meet with key stakeholders and attend local conferences and develop and perform presentations designed to highlight Casa's addiction treatment programs. The manager will host Casa outreach events and provide professional tours of Casa Treatment Center programs. She/he will partner with the clinical team and admissions team on referrals and coordinate intakes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follow annual outreach business plan for specific market segments and submit weekly/monthly reports highlighting progress towards metrics.
Identifies, builds, and cultivates relationships with key referral partners. Follow outreach strategies and implement plans to develop and maintain referral partnerships. Hosts outreach events, tours, presentations, and webinars Increases referral partnerships and business opportunities and work closing with our admissions dept and management team. Thoughtfully stewards all referral relationships in the admissions process when their client is seeking treatment at Casa Treatment Center Meets key indicators and performance benchmarks, including daily calls, face to face visits, site tours and outreach events Maintains the confidentiality of patient protected health information, as well as organizational information Communicates and collaborates effectively with all internal departments Works with admissions to track referrals, conversion to admissions, and follows up with contacts in a timely manner Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications This position is best filled by individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to take ownership of their role within the agency. Track all events, partners and ensure Key Performance Metrics are met. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to engage in a wide range of team functions and dynamics. Ability to work both independently, but also a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within Casa. Excellent organizational and computer skills are required. Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments Minimum Requirements
- 2-years of experience working in Business Development or
- 3-years of experience working within the SUD industry
