Jerry Seiner Honda, San Juan Capistrano, CA About the Role Jerry Seiner Honda is seeking a driven Sales Manager to join our leadership team. You will support the General Sales Manager in overseeing daily operations, coaching the sales team, and achieving department goals. This role focuses on building a high-performing sales team , driving profitability, and delivering an exceptional customer experience . Key Responsibilities Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a team of 8+ sales associates Conduct weekly training sessions and one-on-one coaching to develop team performance Set and achieve sales and gross profit targets (minimum 10 units per salesperson) Lead daily save-a-deal and sales meetings ; desk and close deals as needed Monitor team performance and implement improvement plans for underperformers Maintain strong Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Honda Above Region scores Collaborate with F&I and Used Vehicle departments to maximize profit and performance Assist with inventory management, advertising, and promotional planning Ensure compliance with dealership policies, California labor laws, and applicable regulations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree is a plus Minimum 2 years automotive sales experience ; management experience preferred Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills Ability to obtain California Sales License Clean driving record Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening , conducted in accordance with applicable California and federal laws.
