You will own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and pipeline building to proposal, negotiation, and close — focused on acquiring new customers and growing recurring monthly revenue across TranOps' full suite of logistics services. If you know the Southern California logistics market, have strong relationships, and know how to turn operational pain points into signed business, this role is for you.
What You'll Sell Warehousing & Storage:
Pallet storage, overflow storage, short-term and project-based storage
Freight Handling:
Cross-docking, transloading, container unloading, floor-loaded devanning, pallet transfers
Fulfillment:
Pick/pack, e-commerce support, outbound distribution
Value-Added Services:
Labeling, rework, seasonal surge support, temporary project staging
Yard Solutions:
Trailer parking, container storage, equipment staging, industrial outdoor storage Key Responsibilities New Business Development Prospect importers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, e-commerce brands, freight forwarders, carriers, and wholesalers across Southern California Build a strong outbound pipeline through calls, email, networking, referrals, and industry relationships Identify and prioritize high-value accounts with recurring logistics needs Sales Execution Lead discovery calls and facility tours Develop customized pricing proposals and solutions tailored to each customer's operations Negotiate and close new accounts; maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in the CRM Account Growth Expand existing relationships through upsells across storage, cross-dock, transload, and fulfillment services Identify multi-location opportunities within the TranOps facility portfolio Build long-term strategic partnerships that generate consistent recurring revenue Internal Collaboration Partner with Operations and Management to ensure new business is executed profitably and sustainably Clearly communicate customer requirements during onboarding and launch Share market intelligence on competitor pricing, customer trends, and emerging opportunities What We're Looking For Required 3+ years of B2B sales experience 2+ years in logistics sales — 3PL, warehousing, freight brokerage, fulfillment, or transportation Proven track record of closing new business and building recurring revenue Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills CRM proficiency and disciplined pipeline management Valid driver's license; ability to travel locally within Southern California Preferred Established network within the Southern California logistics or industrial market Experience selling recurring storage or warehousing solutions Familiarity with warehouse operations, pricing models, and WMS/inventory systems Experience selling multi-service logistics or 3PL packages
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$75,000-$100,000 DOE Uncapped Commission on new gross profit + recurring revenue Monthly /
Quarterly Bonuses Top Performers:
