Full-time Responsibilities:
Territory Strategy:
Manage and grow profitable sauce/seasoning sales across the Western region to meet long-term company goals.
Target Audience:
Direct sales efforts toward restaurants, central kitchens, and institutional accounts by engaging directly with chefs.
Financials & Planning:
Handle sales forecasting, budgeting, and market condition reporting to drive strategic planning.
Sales Execution:
Conduct sales calls, introduce products, propose pricing, and represent the brand at industry trade shows.
Operations & Supply:
Monitor purchase orders, fulfill customer sample requests, and coordinate internal warehouse and inventory transfers.
A/R & Collections:
Track aged accounts receivable and support the accounting team with payment reminders and collections.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Act as the liaison between sales, marketing, finance, operations, and external brokers to align business efforts.
Qualifications:
Industry Expertise:
Experience and knowledge within the US and Canadian food industries.
Financial Acumen:
Skilled in sales data analysis, planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
Market Insights:
Ability to gather information and evaluate accurate market conditions.
Core Competencies:
Excellent communication and superb negotiation skills.
Travel Flexibility:
Willingness to travel up to 50%, including planning and arranging trips.
Self-Management:
Able to independently create and follow schedules to accomplish tasks.
Operations & Tech:
Proficiency in inventory management and standard computer (PC) operations.
Mobility & Language:
Flexibility to relocate for new assignments; Japanese business proficiency preferred.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
