Job Description

Lead. Sell. Build. Grow. Kapella Roofing is seeking an experienced, driven, and hands-on Commercial Roofing Sales Manager to lead the growth of our roofing division. This is a player-coach leadership role. We are looking for a leader who can generate revenue, develop relationships, recruit and coach sales professionals, and create accountability throughout the sales organization. This is not a desk-management position. The successful candidate will lead from the front by actively pursuing opportunities, meeting with clients, supporting the sales team, and helping build a high-performance culture focused on results. Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing roofing sales team Establish and manage sales goals, KPIs, and accountability standards Coach, mentor, and support sales representatives in achieving performance targets Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training sales personnel Conduct regular pipeline reviews and performance meetings Business Development Generate and close new commercial roofing opportunities Develop relationships with property managers, facility managers, ownership groups, brokers, HOA boards, and commercial clients Expand Kapella Roofing's presence throughout the Colorado market Attend networking events and industry functions Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities Strategic Growth Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth Collaborate with estimating, operations, and production teams to ensure successful project execution Improve sales processes, reporting, forecasting, and CRM utilization Help establish scalable systems that support long-term growth
Qualifications:
Required Minimum 5 years of roofing sales experience Commercial roofing sales experience Proven track record of revenue generation and business development Leadership or management experience Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Experience managing pipelines, forecasts, and sales activities Valid driver's license Preferred Existing network within the commercial roofing industry Experience building or scaling a roofing sales team Knowledge of multifamily, senior living, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, and commercial property sectors Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate: Leads by example Holds themselves and others accountable Is highly organized and results-driven Understands both sales leadership and personal production Builds strong client relationships Creates opportunities rather than waiting for them Is committed to continuous improvement and team development About Kapella Roofing Kapella Roofing is a growing commercial and residential roofing contractor focused on delivering exceptional service, quality workmanship, and strong client relationships.
