This role will focus on proactive outbound sales, national account development, and strategic positioning of Foxwoods in competitive RFP opportunities for large-scale programs. The National Sales Manager will play a critical role in expanding market share, increasing national visibility, and securing high-revenue group business that contributes significantly to both room and catering revenue goals. The National Sales Manager supports the resort's broader financial and service goals while also contributing to team leadership, mentoring junior team members, and representing Foxwoods at key industry events and trade shows. A minimum of (5) to (7) years of experience in hotel group or convention sales, including at least (2) years selling to markets of 200+ peak rooms in a luxury hotel or resort environment; high school diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred. This position requires demonstrated success in proactive sales success and new business development, strong research and solicitation skills, complex contract negotiations and a solid understanding of large-scale hotel operations. Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to think critically and solve problems under pressure. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and sales systems such as Delphi or equivalent. Public speaking and the ability to conduct compelling site inspections and presentations are key to success in this role. This position is eligible for quarterly and annual incentive compensation based on the achievement of individual booking goals and overall team revenue targets, as outlined in the current incentive plan. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel domestically and internationally are required. The position demands flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and frequent travel for sales calls, trade shows, and networking events.
