Engine Product Support Sales Manager This position can be based out of any of our 6 locations: Poughkeepsie, NY; Bloomingburg, NY; Bronx, NY; Holtsville, NY; Medford, NY; or
Newington, CT Pay :
$110,000-$135,000/year (dependent on relevant experience)
Bonus :
25% bonus potential

Key Qualifications :
Minimum 3+ years of sales management experience, with demonstrated success in developing and leading high-performing teams Proven ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to drive growth strategies Strong negotiation, relationship management, and customer engagement skills with a focus on long-term partnerships Solid financial acumen, including experience with pricing strategies, margins, and profitability analysis Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license required with ability to travel locally up to 50%
Responsibilities:
Key resources (people, leadership, time) are provided to successfully sell engine parts and service Plan, direct and coordinate activities to develop and control sales and service programs to produce our targeted engine parts and service sales volume and margins Provide a high level of customer satisfaction in alignment with our corporate values Provide adequate sales coverage Take appropriate actions for significant growth opportunities by planning and controlling marketing strategies, tactics and sales techniques for promoting sales of CSA's and product support Engine Product Support Sales operation is effectively and efficiently managed Review quotation worksheets, contracts and purchase orders prior to acceptance Maintain working knowledge of Caterpillar Merchandising Programs Maintain positive working relationship with Caterpillar Sales and Support Groups Review receivable with sales force and support collection efforts in conjunction with the Credit Department Work effectively with Parts and Service Management to determine pricing of work, control costs and communicate work schedules in an all-win manner for all stakeholders Support is provided to Power Systems Sales and Project Management initiatives by effectively collaborating with service departments Collaborate with Service Supervisors in developing and implementing marketing plans for promoting sales of CSAs and product support Work effectively with Sales force to provide CSA's, life cycle pricing and customized product support offerings for new opportunities Work effectively with Project Management to ensure product support coverage exists for all new installations including customer training A high-performing workforce through effective hiring, development and retention of talent Achieve a culture of high productivity and morale by fostering engagement, collaboration, and safety Build a high-performing team by developing members to consistently achieve job expectations through coaching, continuous feedback, and accountability Take accountability for talent development by regularly reviewing and discussing employee development activities, such as onboarding, training, and career development initiatives A culture that focuses on safety and safe work habits Be an active part in the continuous improvement of H.O. Penn's safety culture Timely completion of any required safety training for self (including all direct/indirect reports) Adherence to all Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies Understand job risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate those risks, such as wearing all required personal protective equipment as required by task Contribute to positive customer experiences by maintaining the professionalism, appearance and accessibility of our facilities Continually assess the appearance - including cleanliness, professionalism, maintenance and compliance with company policies of your area of responsibility Take corrective action on any items noted during these on-going assessments to ensure compliance with company appearance standards Implement any approved company recommendations for creating a professional appearance and ensuring the accessibility of our facilities
Qualifications:
