Job Description

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and competing deadlines.Financial Acumen:
Ability to monitor budgets, track expenses and revenues, and support collections follow-up.Volunteer Leadership:
Proven ability to recruit, motivate, develop, and retain volunteer teams to achieve program and sales goals.Collaboration:
Works effectively across departments to align product sales initiatives with broader council goals. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered. Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, operations, volunteer management, or a supervisory leadership role. Demonstrated experience working with diverse groups of staff, volunteers, youth, families, and vendors. Experience working in a cross-functional, team-based environment. Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel and reporting tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills. Additional Requirements & Physical Demands Statewide travel required. Valid Connecticut driver's license required. Must provide proof of personal vehicle liability insurance. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support product sales events and organizational needs. Active participation in scheduled Girl Scouts events is required. Must become and maintain membership in GSUSA. Work Environment This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with frequent travel throughout the state. Responsibilities include driving, standing for extended periods, and supporting indoor and outdoor events in varying weather conditions.
