Field-based | Monday-Friday | Local travel across About the Opportunity We're partnering with a well-established commercial roofing contractor that specializes in large-scale service, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs for commercial and government clients. They're hiring a Service Sales Manager to inherit an active service portfolio and grow recurring revenue through inspections, proposals, and consultative selling. This is perfect for a true hunter + relationship builder who knows how to sell ongoing service work. HVAC sales pros are absolutely encouraged —if you can sell maintenance agreements and service repairs, you can succeed here. They'll teach you the roofing technical side. What You'll Be Doing Manage and expand an existing book of service clients (you're not starting from zero) Run on-site roof inspections and identify repair / maintenance needs Build and present repair proposals and preventative maintenance/service agreements Develop relationships with property managers, facility managers, owners, and decision-makers Prospect for new opportunities via self-generated leads, referrals, and cold outreach Coordinate with internal teams (service crews, estimators, PMs) to ensure strong execution Track pipeline, calls, and activity in the CRM and maintain accurate forecasting Hit or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets Follow up post-sale to drive retention, repeat work, and referrals What They're Looking For 4+ years of B2B service sales in commercial roofing or related trades (HVAC, building envelope, mechanical services, construction services) Proven ability to build/maintain a client base and consistently close service work Comfortable with face-to-face selling , job walks, and consultative proposals Strong communication, follow-through, and negotiation skills Hunter mindset with disciplined activity and pipeline management Valid driver's license + clean driving record Able to climb ladders and walk roofs for inspections Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass standard screening requirements Why You'll Want This Role You inherit revenue on day one (existing portfolio + real accounts) Commission upside tied to repeatable, recurring service work (maintenance contracts + repairs) Company vehicle + gas card + tools provided so you can stay in the field and close Stable, essential industry with consistent demand (repairs, leaks, maintenance never stop) Real opportunity to build a long-term book and be the go-to service seller in the territory Benefits Company-provided vehicle, gas card, phone, laptop Medical and dental insurance (vision optional) Life insurance + LTD paid by the company 401(k) with company match Paid time off, sick time, and holidays #
