Job Description We are partnering with a leading identity intelligence and data platform to support a key leadership hire within their Collections Vertical. This role is a backfill for a high-impact seat and will play a critical role in driving both individual revenue production and team performance. This is a true player/coach role, requiring a leader who can both close business and elevate a team. The ideal candidate brings deep experience selling into collections agencies and understands how data, identity intelligence, and analytics solutions support debt recovery, risk mitigation, and compliance efforts. This individual will own a portfolio of accounts while actively prospecting into new logos, all while managing and supporting a team of sales professionals. Success in this role requires a strong balance of hands-on selling, leadership, and operational discipline.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth across the Collections Vertical through net-new sales and account expansion
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of sales professionals to achieve performance goals
- Prospect into and develop relationships with collections agencies and key stakeholders
- Own full sales cycle from pipeline generation to close
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients and recurring revenue streams
- Present pipeline, forecast, and team performance metrics to executive leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally to remove blockers and support team success

- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS / data / analytics sales
- Direct experience selling into collections agencies (required)
- Proven success in a hunter-style, quota-carrying role
- Experience in a player/coach or sales leadership capacity
- Experience managing 4+ sales reps and a book of business
- Demonstrated ability to close new business while managing accounts
- Strong understanding of solution-based selling within collections workflows
- Experience forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools
- Experience selling skip tracing, identity intelligence, or investigative data platforms
- Background with tools like LexisNexis, IDI, TLOxp, or similar data providers
- Experience in risk, fraud, compliance, or financial services data sales
- Prior ownership of large strategic accounts (50+ client portfolio)
