Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing PEO sales team. This role is responsible for driving new business growth, coaching sales representatives, building strategic partnerships, and executing sales strategies within the HR outsourcing and PEO market. The ideal candidate has strong experience in consultative B2B sales, preferably in PEO, payroll, HR services, benefits, or insurance industries. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and motivate a team of PEO sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales goals Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share and revenue Monitor pipeline activity, forecasting, and performance metrics using CRM tools Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members Conduct joint sales calls and provide field coaching Build relationships with referral partners including brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to improve lead generation and client experience Stay current on industry trends, compliance updates, and competitor offerings Ensure consistent execution of the company's sales process and value proposition Prepare and present sales reports to leadership Qualifications 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in PEO, payroll, HR outsourcing, benefits, or related industries 2+ years of sales management or team leadership experience Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets Strong knowledge of consultative sales methodologies Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to build relationships with business owners and executive decision-makers Bachelor's degree preferred but not required based on experience Preferred Experience Experience selling ASO/PEO solutions Knowledge of payroll, workers' compensation, employee benefits, and HR compliance Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + commission structure Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and holidays
